Harrison Johnson, an 11-year-old history buff from North Carolina, is on a mission to raise $100-thousand to pay tribute to the unsung heroes of Pearl Harbor.
Harrison's fascination with Pearl Harbor began with a school history project and quickly grew as he explored books, old newspaper articles, and even communicated with survivors. This deep dive into history inspired him to launch his campaign "Harrison’s Heroes," to educate other kids about the event and ensure the sacrifices made there are remembered.
Through various efforts including community partnerships and charity events, Harrison has successfully raised nearly $81-thousand so far, but he humbly credits the real heroes as those who have laid down their lives for our freedom.
