Do you consider yourself eco-friendly? In honor of Earth Month and ahead of Earth Day on April 22nd, a new survey asks people how environmentally conscious they feel they are on a day-to-day basis. We did pretty well here in Portland, well above average. And there are so many great Earth Day activities.

If you're planning to work in the yard, go grab some free compost. Starting this Saturday, April 20 through Monday, April 22, you can visit PBOT’s Sunderland yard to collect the free compost. The compost is made from the leaves collected last fall. They compost over 5,000 tons of leaves each year.

The Portland Art Museum is commemorating the anniversary of the The Portland Arts Tax with a student art exhibit celebrating the past decade of student art. You can check out the exhibit through April 28th.

The YMCA is hosting a Healthy Kids Day this Saturday. It's the perfect opportunity to get involved in your community and prioritize your family's health and well-being this spring. The Portland YMCA will host it at the Playground at Providence St. Vincent’s. Clark County YMCA will have pool activities.
