Two heroic barbers came to the rescue last week after a child almost ran into traffic. Osvaldo Lugo and Rafael Santana of Looks Sharp Barbershop, were cutting customers’ hair when they saw a child running in the street.
The child was running toward a busy intersection of cars on Main Street. The two men ran outside the store and chased after the kid, scooping him up just before he reached the intersection.
It took Osvaldo a few minutes to find the parents. He said the mother was at a bus stop and didn’t realize her child was gone. Police said they’re grateful for everyday heroes like these two men.
