The Multnomah County Fair at Oaks Amusement Park. The fair features three full days of family fun, including competitive exhibits, musical and stage performances, a car show, a pioneer village, and small animal activities.

The grand finale show will include headliner Curtis Cook featured on Hulu's "This Fool," TBS's "American Dad," Nathan Brannon, Katie Nguyen, Adam Pasi, Anthony Robinson, Julia Ramos, The Real Hyjinx, Debbie Wooten and special surprise guests.

Monday is Memorial Day and The Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs will hold Oregon's annual Ceremony on the grounds of the State Capitol. The event honors Oregon's fallen service members from all eras. West Salem High School's award-winning a cappella group Soundscape will sing the national anthem. The ceremony starts at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Oregon World War Two memorial.

National cemeteries, including Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Fort Stevens National in Warrenton, and Roseburg National will be open for gravesite memorials, placing of flags or flowers by individuals or groups, and many will have a ceremony to mark the day. Find commemoration near me.

Federal courts and offices are closed.

Oregon and Washington state offices and courts are closed.

Portland parking meters are free on Monday, May 27, only, except in some city parks.

Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington and Clark county offices, city of Portland and Vancouver offices, Metro regional center are closed.

Postal mail (USPS) will not be delivered Monday, May 27, and post offices will be closed.

Banks: closed, some in-store branches may be open

Libraries: Most public libraries are closed. Check with your local branch.
