Stacey & Mike's Happy News: Dog Runs 4 Miles in Oregon To Get Help

Thanks to Eva from Beaverton who comes from a family of dog lovers and shared this on her Facebook page.

Last week, Brandon Garrett crashed into a ravine while driving on a U.S. Forest Service Road in Baker County, Oregon, with his four dogs.

Garrett survived the crash, but the accident left him stranded and forced him to wait – and hope – for help.

That’s when one of his dogs ran nearly four miles to their campsite, alerting Garrett's family, who located his vehicle and called emergency rescuers to help reach him.

The rescuers were able to save Garrett and take him to a nearby hospital, and now the family is praising the dog for leading to his rescue.
