Can you believe it's the 50th anniversary of Portland Saturday Market? The celebration this weekend will have all of the things: handmade treasures, live music and local food vendors.

Decorate the Midsummer pole and make flower crowns, watch live music and performers, indulge in Nordic summer delicacies, play games and make crafts, shop vendors, experience Vikings at the Oregon Midsummer Festival.

If you love a day of thrifting you will LOVE Portland Flea, a gathering place for creators, curators and collectors.

Car buffs will want to check out the Friday Night Cruise In at Alderbrook Park in Vancouver. All special interest cars, trucks and bikes welcome.

The Thorns will take on the Utah Royals at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Providence Park. And big congrats to Sophia Smith and Sam Coffey who have been selected to the 18-player American roster headed to the Paris Olympics.

It's a Formula E Series Race Weekend at PIR. Like Grand Prix racing with a muzzle. These E-cars are cool looking and MUCH quieter.

Grab a slice of one of the best pizza's in the US, according to the New York Times. Beaverton's Hapa Pizza "have a pleasingly charred and chewy dough with vivid Asian flavors." A Pho inspired pizza? Yes please!

There won't be fireworks in Cannon Beach for the 4th of July but there will be a circus. A group of puffins is called a circus, and Friends of Haystack Rock is hosting The Great Cannon Beach Puffin Watch July 1-4 as part of the town’s fireworks-free Independence Day celebrations.

STACEY & MIKE'S WATCHLIST

Stacey just watched the delightful "Bottle Shock" which follows the story of Chateau Montelena's triumphant victory at the Paris Wine Tasting of 1976. Also known as the Judgment of Paris, this monumental moment was a first for U.S. wine producers and changed the landscape of the winemaking industry in California forever. Fun Fact: My great grandfather grew the grapes in Sonoma, that my grandmother and her brothers and sisters picked to create what is now the Sebastiani Vineyards and Winery. Unfortunately our family has no ties to it anymore.

Mike is watching Ripley on Netflix. Tom Ripley is a grifter scraping by in early ’60s New York. He’s hired by a wealthy industrialist to travel to Italy to try to convince the man’s dilettante son, Dickie Greenleaf (Johnny Flynn), to return home. Accepting the job is Tom’s first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud, and murder.

And since we are halfway to Christmas Hallmark is launching Christmas in July this weekend. Ho Ho Ho!
