Stacey and Mike's Helping Hands is proud to support One Tail at a Time PDX! Since 2015, OTAT PDX has been making a huge impact on the lives of dogs across the Portland area and beyond. They’re a no-kill, all-breed, foster-based dog rescue that has already welcomed more than 2,200 dogs into loving homes, including 115 so far this year. Their recently opened adoption center at 5132 NE Sandy Blvd is helping them do even more, offering increased adoption opportunities, classes, events, and ways to get involved as a volunteer.
In 2025, OTAT PDX aims to rescue 400 dogs, not just from Oregon shelters but also from far West Texas, where the need is even more urgent. To make a bigger difference there, they helped launch One Tail at a Time West Texas, which has already led to some incredible wins: tripling local adoptions, transforming multiple rural shelters into no-kill facilities, and bringing the overcrowded Pecos Shelter to a 90%+ live outcome rate.
