Intel is adding nearly 2,000 employees to the 523 layoffs it announced last week in Oregon.
Intel currently has almost 20,000 employees in the state. The layoffs are occurring across its sites in Hillsboro. They include a wide range of positions.
A total of 2,392 people are being laid off effective July 15th.
