Everyone thinks their pet is the cutest, so Oregon Humane is partnering with Spotlight Brewing to make them famous. The 2026 Beer Label Photo Contest is open now and runs through July 27. The top three vote-getters and one judge’s choice will be featured on a can of Spotlight Brewing’s Drinking Buddy West Coast IPA.
This is the second year that Oregon Humane has partnered with a local brewery to feature photos of adorable pets on beer can labels as a fundraiser to support Oregon Humane’s life-changing programs and services. In 2025, more than 1,000 photos were submitted, raising $108,000
“People in the Northwest love good beer and share a special connection with their pets,” says Laura Klink, Oregon Humane Public Information Officer. “The Beer Label Photo Contest brings these two things together for a great cause.”
Entering the contest is quick and easy. Upload your pet’s photo on the contest website and encourage family and friends to vote for your photo. Hint: to get more votes, share a link to your photo entry on social media. Photo entries require a $10 donation, and votes are $1 each, with a minimum of $5. Submit photos and vote as many times as you’d like. Contest is open to photos of all domesticated companion animals, whether adopted from Oregon Humane or not. Winners also receive prize packages including gift cards and Oregon Humane merchandise.
“The response to this campaign in 2025 exceeded our expectations and we are excited to partner with Spotlight Brewing this year and raise even more funds,” says Laura Klink, Oregon Humane Public Information Officer. “Our goal is to raise $130,000 to support Oregon Humane’s life-changing programs, including finding homes for more than 12,000 pets each year, providing low-cost spay/neuter surgery, protecting animals from abuse and neglect, and more.”
