The more than 60-year-old Lloyd Center Mall in Portland will close this Saturday and several activities are planned for the last day including a community walk through the mall, a bike ride and a final skate for Jerry and Tally Leonard who skated every week at Lloyd Center for nearly 60 years. Jerry and Tally will take to the ice for their farewell skate at 6:45 p.m. If you come by earlier in the day you can sign a commemorative banner for them.
If you’ve always thought it would be cool to ride your bike across a downtown bridge, this Sunday is Portland's annual Providence Bridge Pedal where cyclists take over several iconic bridges that will be closed to vehicle traffic. You can also walk, in costume if you prefer, there are a variety of route options.
The Vancouver Music and Arts Festival at Esther Short Park is Friday-Sunday. Three FREE outdoor stages with featuring visual artists and musical artists from all genres. The main stage will host the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
PDX Live is back for the 5th year bringing live music to Pioneer Courthouse Square. Modest Mouse, The Breeders, Suki Waterhouse to name a few. Not that Suki isn't amazing live, but what if Robert Pattinson, Suki's fiance and baby daddy, was in town to support her? Just sayin.
Who doesn't love a good Porchfest? Oregon City's is this weekend and it's free. More than 85 artists across 50 porches.

Halloween lovers are so ready for Ghosts of Summer, Portland’s summertime festival at The Redd in SE Portland. The event is set to fill an entire city block with artists, vendors, haunts, educators, and performers.

Well this is just a bunch of MALARKY. Top Chef finalist Brian Malarkey, just opened his first restaurant right here in Portland inspired by Oregon’s oceans, forests and the grittier side of Gus Van Sant’s Portland. It’s called The Malarky, naturally and it's in the old OBA spot in the Pearl.
