Santa gets millions of letters every year, so he asked the Post Office and kind people all over the world to be his official helpers by adopting a letter and fulfilling wishes.
And Operation Santa with the USPS was born. The USPS is now accepting holiday letters through its Operation Santa program, which has connected families in need with kindhearted donors since 1912.
Children and families have until December 5th to get their letters in the mail.
