The Portland Trail Blazers are tipping off the 2026-27 season with the team’s annual Fan Fest, presented by Toyota, on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 4:00 p.m. at Moda Center. Fans are invited to attend the free, family-friendly event for the first chance to see this year’s Trail Blazers, as they host an open scrimmage in preparation for the upcoming season. Fans must register in advance to receive their free ticket at Trailblazers.com/fanfest.

Doors will open at 3:00 p.m., while the on-court action begins at 4:00 p.m. With free parking available in the Rose Quarter Garden Garage and open seating in Moda Center, fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure the best seats for the festivities. Fans can expect traffic disruptions when traveling to and from the Rose Quarter due to the planned I-5 Southbound closure, plan accordingly to ensure a smooth experience.

In collaboration with Toyota, fans can expect a packed schedule of entertainment as the team takes the court for a shoot-around and scrimmage, giving fans the first look at new players and returning favorites. Early arriving guests will receive a free gift, courtesy of Toyota. The always entertaining BlazerDancers and Stunt Team will make appearances to amp up the crowd, while Fan favorites Blaze the Trail Cat and Douglas Fur will ensure the party never stops with their usual antics.

The fun continues throughout the arena! Head up to the concourse for a fun activation as Rip City prepares to welcome Dame Time back to the court this fall. The Rip City Remix will join in with exclusive giveaway items and information on the upcoming 2026-27 NBA G League season. Fans can also enjoy delicious concession snacks and shop at Rip City Clothing Co. to pick up the latest gear for the new season.
