Three people were killed in a crash involving two helicopters near the McMinnville Airport Thursday afternoon.
The crash involved a Robinson R22 with 22-year-old flight instructor Maddie Aasbo, of Texas, and a student pilot from the United Kingdom on board.
The pilot of the Airbus helicopter was 38-year-old Tyler Sturdevant of Newberg.
The crash happened in a field. The FAA and NTSB will investigate the cause of the crash.
