Inspiring Story About the Original Pride Flag That Made Its Way to a Museum

I found this story about the original Pride Flag fascinating. Back in 1978, a man and his friends spent $1,000 for 1,000 yards of fabric, 10 pounds of dye, and 100 pounds of salt and ash and hand-made a gigantic flag for San Francisco's Gay Freedom Day Parade. It's amazing how that design has become the symbol of Gay Pride all over the world. Because it wasn't stored in the best of conditions, it was severely damaged, but a good section that remained, just made it to a museum in San Francisco. It's amazingly beautiful! Happy Pride Month!
