Time is running short if you want your teenager to be fully vaccinated before returning to the classroom this fall, especially if your teen gets the Pfizer or Moderna because both of those involve two shots, and the full process takes over a month, due to the 14-days following the second shot for it to be fully effective.

If you're not sure when your teen's district goes back to school, here's the list:
- Vancouver: August 31
- Evergreen: August 31
- Portland: September 2
- Hillsboro: September 7 and 8 (soft start), September 9 (all students)
- Beaverton: September 8
- North Clackamas: September 7
- Tigard-Tualatin: September 8 (Grades 1-6 and 9), September 9 (Grades 7th-8th and 10th-12th), September 14 (Grades Pre-K & kindergarten)
- Salem-Keizer: September 7 (6th & 9th), September 8 (Grades 1st-5th, 7th-8th, and 10th-12th)
