Today is Roasted Chestnuts Day, so I thought you might like to learn how to make them at home in your oven. I've never made them myself, but after watching the video, I just might. I have however eaten roasted chestnuts, in New York and in Eastern Europe, when I traveled there during the holidays. In those places, the street vendors actually roast the chestnuts on an open fire, and they are yummy! Here, I'll show you a safer way in your oven. Don't be afraid to try them, they're a delicious, holiday treat that goes very well with a hot toddy or hot chocolate!
