I received this Wolfgram from the one and only Wolfman Jack when I got my first full-time job, overnights at Portland's KWJJ, which was an AM country station at the time, AM was still king. One night, when I came in, there was an envelope in my mailbox, with this inside. I've gotta' tell you, I was beyond thrilled and thought it was so cool that Wolfman, or his team, even paid attention to other people's careers, especially someone just starting out. In case you can't read it, its says: "Congratulations on you new post at KWJJ. There's room for another Wolf at Midnight to six. I remember it well." It's hanging in my studio right now at K103. I never got to meet Wolfman Jack, who died in 1995, the closest I got was to work at a sister station of a station he'd worked at, KRLA, when I worked at KHITS.
