Bedtime Snacks To Help You Sleep Better

Collectively, we're losing more sleep in the last year than ever. Thanks, COVID! So here are some things to eat as a snack before bed to help you sleep better and why according to Sleep specialist Michael J. Breus, Ph.D.

Tart cherries are full of the naturally produced hormone melatonin. Melatonin has been known to be important for an individual's sleep.

Avocado on a rice cake and chickpeas due to the amount of carbs full of melatonin and magnesium.

Omelets are also recommended as eggs contain melatonin and L-ornithine, both of which help you improve the quality of sleep.

Maybe throw in some chamomile tea and you might sleep better than you have in days! Sweet dreams.
