I Know That Song: The One That Came In Second In Life

Kinda shocked this one didn’t dominate number one on Casey Kasem’s American Top 40- but Like yesterday's song this one was also locked out of the top spot by Olivia Newton John’s Physical.

Queen refused Sly Stallone's request to use Another One Bite's The Dust for Rocky III making room for these guys to become the creators of one of the most iconic movie theme songs ever.

The song was nominated for the 1982 Academy Award for Best Original Song but it lost to "Up Where We Belong" from An Officer and a Gentleman.[13]

The song was also nominated for the 1983 Grammy Award for Song of the Year, but lost to the Willie Nelson hit "Always on My Mind".

Let this be a lesson kiddies, you don’t have to be number one to be super-duper successful.
