Shout out to Captain Heidi Parr at Station 2 of the Vancouver Fire Department. She's a rockstar! Parr's team is the first all-female crew in the 150-year history of the VFD. Heidi says “I think a lot of women don’t even consider the fact that they’re capable,” “We’re a walking testament to the fact that if you have a desire and will, there’s a way.” And Heidi says “When (little girls) see us, they love it."
