Stacey & Mike's Happy News & How You Too Can Help Ukrainian Refugees

A community group in Corvallis, Oregon is working to help their sister city, Uzhorrod in western Ukraine, as many refugees are fleeing violence from the Russian invasion. The Corvallis Sister Cities Association has raised $260,000 to buy supplies for refugees.

A local couple is helping deliver those supplies in person. Randy and Sabra Killen lived in Corvallis, and were active members of the Sister Cities Association before moving to Camas.

The Killens flew overseas with three large suitcases and seven large bins filled with medical supplies, thermal underwear, and other items that refugees are in desperate need of, along with some notes of hope.

The couple has visited Uzhorrod more than 20 times and they say the emotions of the ukrainian people are all over the place
