Earth Day is Friday April 22. It was created way back in 1970 and is celebrated to raise awareness about the environment.
Plant a tree, bike instead of drive, take your styrofoam to a Portland recycling center instead of throwing in the trash, even eat lunch out and make an impact. Check out Earth Day Oregon who has paired up 280 local businesses that are giving a portion of their sales to 70 environmental nonprofits.
