How To Help Your Kids Find That School/Life Balance

Back on that merry-go-round we go: wake, breakfast, bus, school, sports, clubs, friends, homework, sleep, REPEAT.

How to keep that school/life balance? One word: PLAY.

For young children, playtime IS learning and an important way through which children explore the world around them, rehearse roles and communication strategies, problem-solve, act out things that are bothering them, and experiment.

Free play is particularly important for supporting creativity, while guided play is uniquely important for ‘knowledge’ topics such as math, science, and logic."

For all ages “play” seriously reduces stress and social anxiety.

Whether the kids play first or do homework is a discussion for your family.

If there’s too much homework, talk to the teacher.
