This weekend is the last chance to take a scenic drive up the river and check out the North Bonneville Gorge Days Festival. They’ll have a car show tomorrow, with live music. There’s a vendor market, kids zone, and more. That’s at North Bonneville City Park.

Bastille Day, a day much like our 4th of July, celebrates a revolution that changed a nation. In 1789, the French stormed the Bastille prison, marking the birth of the modern French nation. The Festival celebrates French culture with a day in the park — a day to enjoy music, dancing, good food and drink, and amusements with friends and family.

If you're looking for a way to cool off this summer, the Oregon Rail Heritage Center in Portland is offering open air train rides. Passengers ride in cover car that has the sides open to enjoy views along the Willamette River, wildlife and Oaks Park. The trips last 45 minutes. There are four runs a day on July 13th, 20th and the 27th. Kids are 10 dollars and adults are 15 dollars.

TRAFFIC ALERT: I-84 will close in both directions from 11 o'clock Saturday night through noon on Sunday between I-5 and I-205 as teams from multiple agencies work to remove litter and graffiti. MAX trains and heavy rail traffic will also stop through that area during the work. TriMet will have shuttle buses running in place of MAX trains from the start of service on Sunday until 6 p.m.

STACEY & MIKE WATCHLIST:

Stacey: The Bear season 3. I mean. So many favorite episodes, but "Ice Chips" will win all the awards. The soundtrack is epic, again! I want to go back and watch the whole thing again.

Mike: Not watching much tv this summer but he's still watching The Acolyte.

New in theaters:

LONGLEGS. Maika Monroe plays a new FBI agent assigned to track down an elusive serial killer known as Longlegs, played by Nicolas Cage. The rest of the cast includes Kiernan Shipka as his only known survivor, and Blair Underwood as a fellow FBI agent.

FLY ME TO THE MOON. Channing Tatum is the launch director for the Apollo 11 moon landing, and Scarlett Johansson is a marketing specialist the government hires to fix NASA's public image, even to the point of filming a FAKE moon landing as a backup plan.
