The Swan Island Dahlia Festival has almost 40 acres and a beautiful display garden of stunning dahlias featuring over 370 varieties. The beautiful fields are open from August to September each year, closed on Monday and Tuesday.
The Bella Organic Farm corn maze opens Saturday and will be open daily through Oct. 31. The farm’s pumpkin patch and pumpkin patch activities, like hayrides, open on Sept. 28 and run through Oct. 31. This year Bella is honoring Teachers with free admission all season. The design of this year’s corn maze is also a tribute to teachers, spelling out “Thank You Teachers” when viewed from above.
This is the final weekend of the Portland Indigenous Marketplace. Over 30 vendors, food, art exhibits, and more will be present. A marketplace specifically for Indigenous/Black vendors, all the artists/entrepreneurs featured on Indigenous Marketplace have Indigenous/Black ancestry. Vendors sell their hand made and original designs.
