Portland Area Trick Or Treat Events This Weekend

With Halloween on a Thursday this year you may be hoping to trick or treat this weekend. We have over a dozen area events. Happy Trick or Treating!

Trick or Treat Events Saturday Oct 26

  • Alpacas and sweet treats? Gresham Station offers a twist to trick-or-treating on Saturday, October 26. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., enjoy Halloween at Gresham Station. Meet with alpacas from 12-1:30 p.m., trick-or-treat at participating retailers and do crafts and participate in fun activities.
  • Put on your costume and celebrate the final Happy Valley Farmers Market of the year. On Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., trick-or-treat at 130 vendors, enjoy live music, shop local and snack on tasty food. There will be face painter, games, balloon and henna artists and more.
  • In 2024, annual trick-or-treating event in downtown Hillsboro is on Saturday, October 26. Trunk-or-treating is on Main St. from 3 to 7 p.m. Enjoy spooky music, performances, games and activities, and tons of candy along a festive route. There’s also pet and people costume contests.
  • Try Vegan PDX and Vegan Scouts are hosting a harmless Halloween family-friendly celebration on Saturday, October 26, 4 to 7 p.m. There are Halloween-themed carnival games, trunk-or-treating, spooky decor, photo ops, a raffle, a craft table and more.
  • On Saturday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Graveyard Trunk or Treat is a free, family-friendly Halloween trick-or-treat party hosted by River View Cemetery. Candy will be handed out from the trunks of Halloween themed vehicles.
  • Trick-or-treat at St. Johns businesses along Lombard and adjacent streets on Saturday, October 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. New this year is a pet parade at 10:15 a.m. before trick-or-treating starts. 

 

Trick or Treat Events Sunday Oct 27

  • BOOverton Trick-or-Treat is on Sunday, October 27, from 1-3 p.m. in downtown Beaverton. Businesses will be giving out candy and goodies to children in costumes.
  • Friends of Brooklyn Park is hosting the 5th annual Halloween Cans for Candy event. On Sunday, October 27, from noon to 2 p.m., bring a bag or bucket of redeemable cans and bottles and get a bag of candy (4-6 pieces) at Brooklyn Park. Kids can play the BOO!! bag game for a chance at an extra bag of candy. Funds raised from cans are used for the park’s summer youth program. 
  • On Sunday, October 27, from 2-4 p.m., enjoy trunk-or-treating in the Christ United Methodist Church Cedar Mill parking lot along with music and games. All ages are welcome and costumes are encouraged.
  • The annual Trunk or Treat event at Gresham United Methodist Church is from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, October 27. Stop by for candy, games and prizes for kids of all ages.
  • Head to the Halloween Market for all-ages costume contest, free kids’ activities, candy, a fall on the farm themed photo shoot area, hidden treasure and a limited supply of free pumpkins on Sunday, October 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
  • Dress up as your favorite character and visit Leach Botanical Garden for Boo! Bash on Sunday, October 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. Enjoy the autumn colors as you stroll around the garden and meet some costumed friends who have a treat or two. There’s also music, crafts and special guests, the Belmont Goats. The price is $8 per person. Kids 18 and under attend for free. 
  • Hillsboro’s The Streets of Tanasbourne is hosting Trick-Or-Treat at The Streets. On Sunday, October 27, from 1 to 4 p.m., trick-or-treating takes place at participating shops, while supplies last.
