Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is Monday January 20 and there are a few ways to take part:

The World Arts Foundation Annual Tribute to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be held on Monday (1/20) from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency. The theme is "Beyond Resilience to Empowerment." 

You can join a meaningful day of service at Irving Park, including their park clean up and tree planting. 

Vancouver's tree planting event is Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 4405 S Settler Dr, Ridgefield.

Monday is a "fee free" day at National Park Service sites. The next "fee free" day is April 19th -- the first day of the National Park Week.
