Portland Mom's Helping LA Mom's Through Aftermath of Fires

As firefighters struggle to contain the wildfires that have been raging through southern California since Jan. 7, families who have lost virtually everything are trying to figure out how to move forward.

One concerned mom began a grassroots network to connect moms in need with others who want to help. Since then thousands of moms have connected through Moms Helping Moms. "We match moms affected by the Los Angeles fires with moms across the country who send thoughtfully curated care packages filled with clothes, toys, books, and more — delivered straight to their doorsteps." Many moms from right here in Oregon have stepped up, if you can please reach out to them!
