An Army veteran named Kristin Vanderzanden recently got her dog Frenky back more than three years after they served together in the military.
They were in Afghanistan, and also did 20 Secret Service missions and Kristin says their relationship is special and and seeing Frenky for the first time in years was amazing
Kristin said she was “chomping at the bit” to see Frenky again when it was rumored he may retire due to old age.
The reunion was paid for by the American Humane Society which will also cover all veterinary costs for the rest of Frenky’s life.
