Woke up to the news that one of our favorites has passed away. Val Kilmer was just 65. The youngest ever actor to be accepted to Julliard at the time captured our attention in Top Gun as Iceman, a role that ended up being his final appearance on film in 2022's Top Gun Maverick.
My favorite roles of Val's were Doc Holiday in Tombstone and Perry Van Strike in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which I watch every Christmas. It's not a Christmas movie but it takes place during the holidays in Hollywood and that's good enough for me.
