It's Festival Season!

Looks like a nice weekend for a margarita, traditional Mexican flavors and world class live mariachi music. The Portland Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Tom McCall Waterfront Park is Friday-Monday.

The Hood River Cider Fest is happening on May 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hood River Event Site. You can sample over 50 ciders from 20 Oregon and Washington cideries, including favorites like Portland Cider Company and Schilling.

Thousands of bikers will descend upon Portland this weekend for One Moto at Zydell Yards.

Sunday is May The Fourth (be with you) and to celebrate many will watch their favorite Star Wars movies. Revenge of The Sith was actually back on the big screen last weekend to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the movie, not sure why they didn't keep there one more week for May The Fourth but you can stream all of the Star Wars movies and TV shows on Disney+ and HULU.

The Mt. Hood Pond Skim is back on May 3 at Mt. Hood Meadows! From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., snowboarders and skiers aged 15 and older will skim 100 feet across a frigid pond, competing for prizes like custom skis and gift cards.

If you head to Portland's Convention Center you'll be a walkin' in a Crafty Wonderland! Portland’s biannual art and craft fair boasts unique handmade wares from 225+ local vendors.

The Spring Garden Fair is at the Clackamas County Event Center this weekend. They’ll have 100 vendors with a wide variety of annuals, perennials and specialty plants. Plants for sale are carefully chosen to thrive in the Pacific Northwest climate. There’ll be a lot of kid’s activities and entertainment, too.

Walk with, or in honor of, a special woman in your life — a mother, grandmother, daughter, partner or friend. All proceeds benefit the women and children of Rose Haven.

The Goonies turns 40 this year and for the big celebration Emmy-winning production designer James Pearse Connelly is supervising the restoration of the Astoria house that served as the home of the Walsh family. the Goonies 40th Anniversary weekend in Astoria is June 5-8.

Stacey: Conclave on Prime Video. Pretty interesting especially with the actual conclave to elect a new pope happening at The Sistine Chapel starting May 7, 2025. This follows the death of Pope Francis on April 21, 2025.

Mike: Still loving Your Friends and Neighbors on Apple+ and Mob Land on Paramount+

Find the fancy hats because the most exciting 2 minutes is all of sports, The 151st Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, is 11:30 Saturday on NBC. "Journalism" is the favorite horse. He’s faster and versatile which apparently gives his jockey options. I'm just hear for the hats.

Benson Boone is the musical guest on Saturday Night Live…it’s their season finale.  “Abbott Elementary” star Qunita Brunson is hosting.
