Portland Rose Festival fun includes City Fair at Waterfront Park and the CareOregon Starlight Parade Saturday in downtown Portland. Portland’s most popular fun run, the Starlight Run, is the wacky warm-up act for the Starlight Parade, which starts and finishes on Naito Parkway at Rose Festival CityFair. The 47th Annual Starlight Run will start at 7:00 p.m., and the traditional costume contest will be held at 5:30 p.m.
The Portland Bloom Tour brings together local florists, artists and retailers to craft breathtaking floral displays and art installations throughout the city. This year, there are more than 40 creations on display. There’s lots to see in Portland’s Downtown, Old Town and Lloyd District. Also, Rose Festival activities coincide with this event, making for double the blossoming beauty in Portland.
