We'll be looking for you Saturday at Pioneer Courthouse Square. The Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade starts at 10am at Waterfront Park. There will be floral encrusted floats, marching bands, llamas, and my favorite, the mini floats (especially the lady bug!) We, K103 Mornings With Stacey & Mike, will be announcing the parade near Starbucks so stop by and say hi!
Portland Rose Festival fun also includes City Fair at Waterfront Park, The Rose Festival Queen's Coronation, Fleet Week and the Dragon Boat Races.
If you're planning to tour the ships you won't need tickets but you will need to be 18 with a Real ID or Passport. Visitors will pass through an airport-style security screening and must wear closed-toe shoes.

It’s strawberry picking season in the Pacific Northwest! Travel to these you-pick farms in and around Portland to fill your basket with fresh strawberries.

The “Goonies Weekend” 40th birthday celebration is goin down in Astoria. Treasure hunts, costume contests, film screenings, and more events, some are already sold out, including cast and crew panels and a bus tour of filming locations.
Portland’s Really Really Free Market is a monthly event where everything is completely free—no trades, no money, just community sharing. People bring items in good condition to give away, and attendees can take whatever they need. The market happens on the first Saturday of each month from 12 to 2 PM at Gateway Discovery Park. If you plan to participate, bring a blanket or small table to display your items and take home anything left over.
