A very lucky goat in Hawaii is getting a second chance at life, and motherhood, after being rescued from a 120-foot cliff where she had been stranded for nearly a week and at first, things weren't looking great
Now named Momma Mia because, surprise, she's pregnant, the 3-year-old goat was found to be in good health after a vet check and is now resting, eating, and catching up on well-deserved sleep.
The folks at KARES (Kohala Animal Relocation and Education Service) shared that she’ll eventually be placed in a forever home with a company that rents goats to help clear out overgrown vegetation.
So not only did she escape a life-threatening situation, she’s also headed for a peaceful new life with purpose with a baby on the way.
