Ducks & Beavers kick off the storied Rivalry Game at noon tomorrow at Autzen. Kickoff at noon on the Big Ten Network or Fubo. The Oregonian is reporting a multi-year agreement to restore the rivalry will return in 2027 that would keep the Oregon/Oregon state series alive through 2032. Details are still being negotiated, but it’s likely that the series will pick up in 2027 at Autzen Stadium.

Oktoberfest at Oaks Amusement Park is three days to savor authentic German cuisine and raise a stein of Paulaner beer, returning to the festival by popular demand. Dance the night away to lively polka and folk music, cheer on the wiener dog races, and catch live cooking demonstrations.

Oktoberfest at Prost! in NE Portland. They've got Commemorative Bier steins and a bunch of fest bier coming to put on tap and will do some new food specials. They will be playing some of your favorite German drinking songs, decorating the pub, and being geared up for a good time.Who’s got tickets for Saturday at Autzen!? The 129th Rivalry Game between The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers. The Beavers are going in 0-3, Ducks 3-0 and Oregon is favored by five scores. Formerly known as the Civil War game, this is the last one for the foreseeable future, with conference realignments and next year's conflicting schedules. However, Duck Coach Dan Lanning has said it would continue even if it meant "we to put the ball out in the parking lot." Kickoff at noon the Big Ten Network.

The Hotel Zags and PLS on Sixth bring Oktoberfest to downtown Portland starting Friday and running through Oct. 10. The family-friendly festivities include Bavarian-inspired eats, live music, German games, a lederhosen contest, and, of course, the beer garden. More at PLS on Sixth dot com.

The Portland Trail Blazers will host a special fan rally at Pioneer Courthouse Square on Sunday, September 21st. It'll celebrate Damian Lillard's return to the team. Lillard continues to recover from surgery to repair his Achilles tendon. Lillard will address the crowd and talk about his return. There will also be a street fair with various Blazer booths, activities for fans, food, music and games. The event will run from noon to 2 p.m.

The Rivalry to end all Rivalry games is Saturday at Autzen. The number five Ducks will host the Beavers at Autzen Stadium. Ducks have won the matchup in each of the past two seasons and has not lost to OSU at home since 2007. Good news from The Oregonian about the future of the game.

Portland foodies are in for a feast at Snack Fest. The creators of Portland Night Market are hosting a special food-themed event this weekend. It’s called Portland Snack Fest and includes artisans, food trucks and innovative snack makers at this event. Try everything from gourmet bites and artisanal chocolates to plant-based treats and unique fusion bites. Take a step back in time at the annual Philip Foster Farm Cider Squeeze. You’ll get an insider’s look at what life was like on a working farm along the Oregon Trail in the 1800s. Bring your apples, press theirs or buy cider during the Cider Squeeze this Saturday.

If you dare, there's always the Beer Quest Haunted Pub Tour at Kells Irish Pub. On this spine-tingling walking tour, you’ll uncover Portland’s dark side. In the early 1900s, unsuspecting sailors were often ruthlessly abducted and wisked away through the notorious Shanghai Tunnels. 

Join a tail-wagging day with the pet community at Fur Baby Love Fest. The inaugural Fur Baby Love Fest is Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Meldrum Bar Park in Gladstone. The event is free to attend. Bring your dog, family and friends for an event that’s on a mission to become dog festival of the year. You’ll also have the chance to meet a few adoptable pups from Oregon Dog Rescue.

The annual Polish Festival in Portland hosts a full weekend of free, family-friendly activities. It’s the oldest Polish festival in the Western United States and features authentic Polish food, live music and dance performances, history and culture exhibits, children’s activities, polka contests, local merchants and a beer garden. Get this, more than 15,000 pierogi are expected to be consumed during the weekend! It’s this Saturday and Sunday near MAX station and Overlook Park.

“Strut Your Kidney” this Sunday at Sellwood Riverfront Park in Portland. The event raises money for Northwest Kidney Kids, a nonprofit supporting local kids with chronic kidney disease and their families.
