The Holiday Food & Gift Festival features hundreds of exhibitors with one-of-a-kind gifts that cannot be found anywhere else. Featuring art, crafts, jewelry, clothing, woodcraft, photography, toys, Christmas décor, and much more. At the Westside Commons Wingspan Event & Conference Center Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

PDX Pop-Up Shops are back, transforming vacant retail spaces in downtown Portland into vibrant, temporary destinations for local designers and artists. From handcrafted ceramics, high-end jewelry, homemade desserts, to homegrown wine, this season’s selection promises something for everyone.

The Lan Su Chinese Garden is celebrating the Chrysanthemum Festival. The garden will come alive with brilliant hues, intricate floral arrangements, and large-scale floral sculptures inspired by the theme Poetry and Wine.

The Oregon Zoo is offering half-price admission. And free for you and your family if you’re a government employee affected by the shutdown. It’s Polar Bear Week at the Zoo, so you can see Nora the polar bear before she moves to her new home at a zoo in Wisconsin.

Gobble Up Portland is this Saturday at The Redd. Bring your appetite and stock up on holiday gifts, fill your pantry with local goods and discover new local products to feature in your holiday dishes. There’s also food trucks and a bar. The Redd is in Portland’s Central Eastside on Salmon Street.

If it's vegan offerings you're in search of you're in luck! It’s World Vegan Month and no one does that quite like Portland. A bunch of local restaurants are stepping up with great plant-based specials. Each has selected a cause and will be donating a portion of sales from their World Vegan Month specials.

After a 2 year hiatus, The Portland Book Festival returns. The festival is packed with on-stage author conversations, interviews, panels, pop-up readings, drop-in writing workshops, live music, an expanded book fair and food truck. Around 100 authors normally participate.

The Portland Zine Symposium (PZS) is hosting its yearly free conference and zine social exploring facets of independent publishing and DIY culture.

Celebrate National Native American Heritage Month at Frybread Fest. Join a fun-filled day at Directors Park of music, cultural performances, and educational workshops.

The multi-sensory musical experience that is: Candlelight: A Tribute to Coldplay & Imagine Dragons Saturday at The Old Church Concert Hall.

The Decemberists will be at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall Thursday and Friday performing with the Oregon Symphony for a landmark hometown collaboration.

No matter what you're doing this weekend, a warm holiday drink from Starbucks always adds to the festivities! The holiday menu has returned, including the long awaited return of the eggnog latte and a whole new collab with Hello Kitty!

The Christmas Tree, a 75' Doug Fir, arrives Wednesday, November 12 at 11 AM at The Square. Enjoy Santa, joyful carolers, tuba players, city dignitaries, falling snow and enjoy FREE hot chocolate. The annual tree lighting will be Black Friday, Nov 28th.

Vinyl lovers make plans for this groovy event. Save the LP at The Reser next Saturday Nov 15th. For record collectors and sound preservationists of all ages. Dig through stacks of vinyl from over 50 vendors across the Pacific Northwest—featuring vinyl, CDs, 45s, cassette tapes and more.
