Stacey & Mike's Happy News: Runaway Porker Rescued & Adopted

A pig that briefly became a local celebrity after sprinting down I-40 in Albuquerque has officially landed the good life. After police and Animal Welfare officers rounded up the runaway porker on the interstate, the shelter held him in case an owner came forward, but no one did.

Enter Jerrod and Katherine, a local couple who fell in love with his determination the moment they saw video of his great escape.

They were first in line to adopt him and happily brought him home, giving him the perfect name: Boar-is.

Boar-is is now settling into life with his new family
