A grandmother of six is hoping to find the stranger who saved her life after she suddenly collapsed at a Virginia park last month. While visiting Echo Lake Park on November 5, Melinda Pereira went into cardiac arrest and lost consciousness, with no pulse and no breathing.
The next thing she remembers is waking up in the hospital, where doctors later told her that her survival depended on everything happening at exactly the right moment and on the quick actions of a good Samaritan who stepped in before first responders arrived.
