An unexpected guest found its way into a Wisconsin home over the weekend when a deer crashed through a basement window and became trapped inside.
The homeowners were away at the time, and the animal wasn’t discovered until Monday morning, when a neighbor noticed it inside the house.
By then, the deer had spent a couple of days wandering the basement, leaving behind broken glass and quite a mess.
Wildlife specialists from NuisancePro were able to safely rescue the exhausted deer, which had tired itself out after being stuck indoors for days.
They guided the deer back outside, where it was immediately released into the wild and this is not that uncommon as it turns out…
