Stacey & Mike's Happy News: Dog Crosses Finish Line At Olympics

Only at the Olympics could a world class cross country ski race suddenly turn into a three lane event thanks to an unexpected furry competitor.

During the women’s team sprint qualifier, a very happy dog named Nazgul trotted onto the course and decided to join the athletes for the final stretch, running right behind two skiers as the crowd erupted in cheers.

Cameras caught him proudly crossing the finish line and then casually sniffing around like he had just completed his own Olympic debut.

As it turns out, Nazgul is a two year old Czechoslovakian wolfdog who had simply escaped home because he didn’t want to be left behind when his people went out for the day.
