A 61 year old father experienced a moment he had waited his entire life for when he finally saw the full spectrum of color. Jim Gogan had been colorblind for as long as he could remember and struggled to distinguish reds and greens.
His family had talked for years about getting him a pair of special glasses that could help him see color, but this Christmas his son Kyle was finally able to make it happen after receiving a bonus from work.
When Jim opened the gift and put on the glasses, the reaction was immediate and emotional. Looking at a colored drawing of a Christmas tree, he began to tear up as the colors came into focus for the first time.
