All Aboard the Easter Bunny Express at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center. Springtime is here, and it’s time for an egg-citing adventure. Hop aboard a festive Easter-themed steam train ride pulled by the legendary Polson #2 and celebrate the season in style.

The Oregon Zoo's Hop Into Spring April 4 is perfect if you have littles (kids 8 and under) Spend the day enjoying lawn games, animal encounters, magic and puppet shows, coloring and crafts, a bubble party and more. Plenty of festive costumed characters will be on hand.

Get a selfie with the big Bun Bun himself. The Easter Bunny will be posing under the stage canopy on the Village Green in front of a cheerful springtime backdrop designed for picture-perfect moments. Bring the little ones, invite your furry friends, and be sure to have your camera ready — there will be plenty of sweet memories to capture. *Please note that the Easter Bunny will take brief, periodic carrot breaks throughout the afternoon.

Washington Square is booking appointments to get your pics with the Easter Bunny. They're also partnering with Autism Speaks to offer a sensory-friendly Bunny Photo experience, designed for a calm, supportive environment. book ahead to reserve your time .

Lee Farms in Tualatin is hosting breakfast with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt.

Join Topaz Farm for the 4th Annual, stress-free Easter celebration. This is a low-key, crowd-controlled event, not a large festival. Attendance is limited, so it stays relaxed and easy to enjoy. Egg hunts are simple and designed for younger kids.

Bring the kids to the Easter Egg Hunt at Bella Organic Farm. It’s a 100-acre certified organic farm and winery on Sauvie Island with Easter bunny photos, petting zoo, cow train ride, hay maze and more. You can also pick up a bite to eat at the food booth, grab a glass of wine or beer, and peruse the market.

This weekend Plumper Farms will host its very first Easter Egg Hunt. Spend the day exploring the farm, hunting for eggs, visiting the animals, and making sweet spring memories together. 

Celebrate Easter at Eagle Landing, rain or shine. Two egg hunts will be held at 10am and noon.

Other egg hunts include the Tigard Hunt at Cook Family Park, Wilsonville Community Egg Hunt at Memorial Park, the mEGGa Egg Hunt at the Columbia County Fairground

Easter at The Grotto will follow the regular Sunday mass schedule. The Ave Maria Chorus Easter Presentation will be held on April 12.

Hop aboard the Portland Spirit for a relaxing two-hour Easter Champagne Brunch along the Willamette River. 

The Great Thunderegg Hunt is Saturday at Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals in Hillsboro. You could take home a thunderegg or a mystery mineral. In addition to the hunt, there will be uncut and polished thundereggs for sale, thunderegg cutting, geode cracking, and more.

Vintage and antique lovers, head to Sellwood's Stars Antiques Malls to hunt for eggs on Sunday starting at 11am at both locations on Milwaukie Ave. There will be 150 prize-filled eggs hidden in both shops.

For the grownups there's a cork hunt at Tualatin Estate Vineyard on the Saturday. Each colored cork corresponds to a prize, such as 5% off your wine purchase. Or, find the single golden cork to win a magnum of 2016 Bernau Block Pinot Noir.

Hop on over to Hip Chicks Do Wine for the Easter Candy and Wine Pairing event of the season Friday & Saturday.

Color‑hunting is a fun creative game, much like an egg hunt but instead you pick a color then head out and photograph anything you find that matches it. Flowers, buildings, food, street signs, even strangers’ outfits all count. It’s catching on because it gives people a fun reason to move, explore, and hang out together. 

Now through Saturday it’s the Easterseals Bloomfest. This 36-year-old Spring tradition brings the joy of tulips to thousands across Oregon while also raising funds to make life better for the children and adults, Veterans and seniors served by Easterseals Oregon. Freshly-picked tulip bouquets from Oregon's beloved Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm are on display and available for $12 each at pop up locations around Portland and Salem.

The 42nd annual Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival is a gorgeous place to breathe in nature and also grab some great pictures.

The famous cherry blossoms have hit peak bloom at Waterfront Park and the Portland Japanese Gardenbut you can still grab some great pics. If you're headed to Washington Park don't miss the Hoyt Arboretum, World Forestry Center and International Rose Test Garden with over 10,000 rose bushes! The free Washington Park shuttle can help you get around.

Hortlandia returns at the Wingspan Event Center in Hillsboro, bringing more than 70 Northwest nurseries, artists and horticultural groups under one roof. Shoppers can browse unique plants, handmade garden art and used garden books. Friday’s early‑access shopping runs 5–8 p.m. for $25, with Saturday’s public sale open 10–4 for $5. Tickets are available online or at the door. Parking is $10 at Westside Commons.

EASTER WATCHLIST

The new Super Mario Galaxy movie is already breaking box office records and it just came out, pulling in 34-million dollars- on a Wednesday! That's the best opening day so far this year, beating "Project Hail Mary" by a million dollars. It’s expected to make over 180-million dollars over the Easter holiday period.

There are some fun classic Easter specials and movies you can stream or find on YouTube this weekend. There’s Bluey’s Easter Special, Peanuts has It’s The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown, Winnie the Pooh and Rabbit have one called Springtime with Roo. And there’s Dora’s Easter Adventure, too. You’ll find those on Netflix or Disney Plus… and Peppa Pig's YouTube channel follows Peppa’s Easter egg hunt.
