A woman named Jessica Johnston went through a terrifying ordeal after falling 180 feet down a waterfall while hiking in a remote part of New Zealand.
While she survived and was rescued, her border collie Molly was missing in the rugged wilderness. What followed was an incredible outpouring of support, as people across the country donated thousands of dollars to fund a helicopter search, with volunteers and advanced thermal imaging brought in to give Molly the best chance of being found.
Against the odds, the crew spotted Molly cold, wet, and alone near the base of the waterfall and the reunion that followed was nothing short of emotional.
Video showed Molly immediately running to Jessica, who, despite her injuries, dropped down to embrace her. After a week in the wild, Molly was already bouncing back, even playing fetch shortly after being rescued.
