Stacey & Mike's Happy News: 4yo Prodigy To Play Carnegie Hall

Little DUDE!

He may look like any other four-year-old running around, full of energy, but when he sits down at the piano, something pretty remarkable happens.

Michael Girgis only started playing in late 2025, and in just a matter of months, he’s already racked up dozens of first-place awards and is now set to perform at Carnegie Hall, becoming one of the youngest pianists ever to take that stage.

His parents say it all started when he watched his older siblings take lessons, and he just took off from there…learning so quickly that he now reads music better than he reads the alphabet.

And despite his age, he’s putting in the work, practicing several times a week and showing a level of focus you wouldn’t expect from someone so young.

His big moment at Carnegie Hall is coming up soon, and his family says it still doesn’t quite feel real. But for Michael, it’s simple…he just loves playing.
