A 99 year old woman known online simply as “Granny” may have just nailed one of the greatest concert moments of all time.
During a stop on the Rock the Country festival tour in Texas, country star Brantley Gilbert helped announce that Granny was about to attempt becoming the oldest woman ever to crowd surf.
And somehow, she absolutely owned it. Fans lifted her above the audience while she rode across the crowd strapped safely to a cot, grinning ear to ear and soaking up every second of it.
Granny has actually become an internet sensation through videos posted by her grandson Ross Smith, where she’s constantly doing hilarious and wildly unexpected things with total confidence.
After the stunt, she told the crowd she had a great time, and you could see it all over her face.
