Stacey & Mike's Helping Hands and Esther's Pantry Feeding Portland

Did you know that Esther's Pantry is the oldest LGBTQ+ food pantry in Oregon? For more than 30 years, Esther's Pantry has provided nutritious food to people living with HIV, immigrant families, and others experiencing food insecurity.

Today, the pantry welcomes ANYONE in need of support. That could be the child who sat next to your son or daughter all year going hungry this summer, or a neighbor skipping meals to make ends meet. It's happening all around us, maybe it’s happening to you. That’s why we do Stacey & Mike’s Helping Hands, and this month we need your help to help fill the shelves at Esther’s Pantry.

More than 500 people visit Esther's Pantry in Milwaukie every month for groceries and essential resources.

In Oregon, 1 out of every 7 adults and 1 out of every 6 children are hungry, according to the Oregon Food Bank. Those turning to local food pantries for help are increasingly finding bare shelves.

Even within the Oregon Food Bank network, there is not enough food to meet demand. You can help ensure our neighbors have access to the food they need. Learn more about how you can support Esther's Pantry today by purchasing off their Amazon wish list, signing up to volunteer or making a cash donation. Summer is here, have the kids do a neighborhood food drive. Or set one up yourself at work.
