Stacey Lynn and Mike Chase From K103 Mornings with Stacey and Mike in Portland, Oregon Explore New Ways To Support Different Non-Profits and Charities Month to Month

Someone Has Died. Everything Has Changed. Dougy Center Is Here To Help.

Dougy Center was founded 40 years ago right here in Portland as a safe place and community providing grief support for children, teens, young adults and their families. They also provide adult support groups for parents and caregivers.

Executive Director of Dougy Center, Brennen Wood, came to Dougy Center when she was 12 and her mom died. Her heart and her story resonate with the families who come to Dougy Center. She knows from experience that Dougy Center is a place where kids can grieve in their own time, in their own way.

Please help in any way you can by volunteering or donating. And join us Nov 17 at 10:30am for K103 Facebook Live as Brennen joins us for National Children’s Grief Awareness Day.
