With Love Oregon has made it t\heir mission is to help foster families change the lives of young kiddos by ensuring that every child entering foster care birth through age six, has access to the essentials needed to thrive, feel safe, and cared for.
With the high cost of essentials such as cribs, car seats, clothing, etc., and taking into account how quickly young children outgrow these resources, this creates a unique opportunity for the community to share resources.
With Love is currently meeting an average of 120 monthly requests for everything from toys & books, clothes & shoes, and a large assortment of baby gear. (See Stacey & Mike model the great clothes available for these kiddos at With Love.)
They also provide annual seasonal retention events aimed at connection and community building through our back-to-school event, pumpkin patch, and holiday event.
With Love is also committed to supporting the diverse needs of children in care, including offering resource parents classes aimed at teaching parents how to care for the hair care needs of children with curly, coiled hair types via our Curls & Coils Class.
If you're interested in helping With Love Oregon, join us next Saturday, September 13th for their 2nd annual car show. Over 80 cars, along with vendors and food trucks. A great chance for people to see firsthand how they serve children in care and learn how to get involved.
